• Check-In is from 2pm daily. Guests arriving prior to this time may leave their luggage at the hostel and we will do our best to get you in as soon as we can.
• Departing guests must remove all their belongings from their room, and check out, by 10am. At this time, all possessions must be removed from the dorm/room.
• We provide complementary luggage storage for your day of arrival and departure only.
• A valid form of photo identification is to be presented upon check-in, in the form of an International Passport, National ID. Card or Drivers License.
• Failure to provide acceptable ID will mean that you cannot check in.
• Check out is at 10am. If you check out late, you may be asked to pay for an extra night, so make sure you’re up and ready in time!

• To cover our banking transaction fees, a surcharge of 2.0% will applied to all card transactions, including contactless transactions
• Bookings are subject to availability and are not confirmed until you have received notification.
• By making a reservation with your credit card you authorise us to charge 1 nights accommodation cost (deposit) to your credit card without further reference to you in the event of a cancellation with 48 hours or non arrival.
• Pay how you choose upon arrival (Visa, Mastercard, Cash).
• The number of nights pre-booked must be paid for on arrival.
• After check in your tariff is non-refundable if your stay is cut short
• All bookings are subject to availability and Wake Up reserves the right to decline any booking at its discretion.
• For last minute, multiple person reservations (in periods of high demand) it may not be possible to put all occupants in the same room. We shall certainly do our best though!
• For last minute bookings in periods of high demand we may not be able to keep you in the same room for the entirety of your stay.

We are strictly an 18+ hostel and bookings cannot be accepted for any person under the age of 18. Although we do not have an upper age limit most of our guests are 18-30. Please be aware that if you book a dorm you may be in a top bunk.

• Amendments to your reservations must be notified and agreed with by us.
• In the event of cancellation within 48 hours of your booking you will be charged one stay and forfeit your deposit, this will in no circumstances be refunded.
• Your non-arrival will result in the cancellation of your entire reservation, one night charge and the forfeit of deposit.

• All reservations between 23/12 – 04/01 (inclusive) are Non refundable. This includes both the “Standard” & “Non-Refundable” rate plans.
• Event rates & minimum stays apply for this period.
• Standard Rate Plan – Minimum 4 night Stay – Higher Price.
• Non-Refundable Rate Plan – Minimum 7 night stay – Lower price.
• The full remaining cost of any booking for stays between the 22nd December and 4th January (inclusive) must be paid at the time of booking.
• Payment will be processed using the credit card that you nominated at the time of your booking. If the credit card you nominated is not chargeable, you will be contacted by management, and should no chargeable credit card be provided, your booking will be cancelled.

The comfort, safety and security of our guests is of paramount importance to us at Wake Up! Bondi. Any guest(s) who, in the opinion of our staff, compromise the comfort, safety or security of other guests, staff or local residents will be requested to leave the hostel premises and will not be offered a refund. Guests are expected to respect other guests, staff, local residents and property.

Smoking & Vaping is not permitted anywhere in the Wake Up! Bondi building. Any guest found smoking or vaping in the building will be asked to leave the premises immediately and will not be offered a refund. In the event that the Fire Alarm is set off you will be liable for the $2500 call out fee.

Tampering with Fire Equipment is a serious offence in Australia. Any guest found tampering with detectors, alarms or fire extinguishers will be liable for any fines and/or repairs as a result of the offence. In addition to this you will be asked to leave the premises immediately and will not be offered a refund. In the event that the fire alarm is set off you will be liable for a $2500 call out fee.

• Drug use is illegal in Australia. Any guest found using drugs within the building will be asked to leave the premises immediately and will not be offered a refund.
• Use of NOS Canisters (Nangs) will result in your eviction from our property.

Alcohol consumption in the hostel is permitted within the 4th floor common area and rooftop only. Alcohol must not be consumed in the room at any time. Any alcohol found in the rooms will be confiscated and returned upon checkout. Salty’s Bondi bar (just downstairs from our hostel) is open 12pm – 11pm. Due to the nature of the liquor license no alcohol purchased from Salty’s can be consumed outside of Salty’s.

Secure lockers for laptops and small valuable items are located in each dorm room, as well as the reception area. It is the guest’s responsibility to ensure that their personal belongings are secure at all times. Wake Up! accept no liability for the loss, theft or damage to guests’ property, however sustained or caused. We strongly recommend you bring a padlock to use with your luggage & backpack.

Guests will be expected to reimburse Wake Up for any damage caused by inappropriate behaviour during their stay.

Except in relation to death or personal injury caused by our negligence, Wake Up’s liability remains, at all times, limited to the value of the services booked, excluding any amendment charges paid to us.

Wake Up shall only store and use information you supply to us or which is supplied to us for the purposes of carrying out our contract with you, and to inform you of other services and offers which we make available from time to time. Any omission or error in sales literature, web pages or site, order form, quotation, price list, order acknowledgement, dispatch note, invoice or other documents issued by us may be corrected by us without liability. We will advise you of any changes at the time of booking or as soon as is reasonably possible thereafter.
